Privacy & Security

• Your name, other names used, date of birth, address, phone, and county.
• Your Social Security number and driver-license number, when a court form requires them.
• The court, arrest, and program records you choose to upload.
• The case facts read out of those records, and any corrections you make.
• The court documents prepared for you, and a record of when they were made or opened.

Your records and identity information are used only to prepare your Step 4 court documents. They are not sold, and they are not used for advertising.

• You must be signed in. Every record is tied to your account and checked on the server.
• Uploaded files live in private storage. There is no public link to any of your files.
• File links you open expire after a couple of minutes.
• Your full Social Security and driver-license numbers are encrypted before they are stored. The pages you see show only the last four digits.
• Records are read on our servers. Identifiers are stripped out of error reports and logs.
• You are signed out automatically after a period of inactivity.

No system can promise perfect security, and we will not claim otherwise. We do apply the protections above and keep access limited to your own account.

You can delete your workspace at any time from the Account page. That removes your uploaded files, the facts read from them, and the documents prepared for you. You can also close your sign-in account at the same time.
